GPS-navigation system on the motorbike is a nice thing to have but the screen will distract and the voice announcements are too low for the helmet. The FREEWAY makes it possible, when using adequate helmet sets, to hear the voice announcements comfortably in the helmet even when driving at very high speed. Additionally, it is provided with a high quality intercom.

A driving noise compensated volume control and a deactivation of the intercom when driving solo offer the best possible comfort.

The intercom of the FREEWAY works with intelligent driving noise compensation and enables a hands-free voice communication between driver and pillion rider.

Important device features:

• Fit-for-motorbike intercom:
  Crystal-clear hands-free full duplex helmet-to-helmet intercom system makes a safe voice communication possible even with very high driving noises.
  

• Automatic deactivation of intercom when driving solo:
  The helmet microphones are completely deactivated when they are not needed, e.g. when driving solo.
  

• Effective elimination of disturbing driving noise:
  
  • Expensive filters reduce the driving noise.
  • If nobody is talking, a fit-for-motorbike voice-switch ensures also at high speed a soft muting of the microphone signals.

• Input for navigation systems with voice announcements:
  
  With the FREEWAY a manually handling of your navigation system is not necessary when driving!
  
  • Automatic volume control of the navi signal depending on driving noise.
    
  • Two channel operation possible. Connection of stereo devices possible. (Mind road traffic regulations!)
    
  • Extensive universal connections for navigation accessories. Optionally available connecting cables allow the connecting of every type of navigation system. Connection possible for high level output (loud-speaker) or low level output (headphones).
    
    
• Various adjustment settings:
  Lowest voice volume level, driving noise compensation and volume of intercom may be adjusted individually.
  
  
• Easiest handling because of power supply by the motorbike:
  No changing or recharging of batteries necessary.
  
  
• Less mounting effort because of automatic power-on of the power supply:
  Plugging in the helmet connector will automatically power-on the FREEWAY. This allows connecting the system directly to the battery of the vehicle or optionally to any 12V power plug.
  
  
• Practical power-on of accessories:
  This function allows automatically power-on connected devices like radio or two-way radio, if desired. Simply plug in helmet connector and start driving.
  
  
• Extensive integrated vehicle dejam facilities:
  Save time and money. The FREEWAY is extremely safe from electronic interferences. Also the operation on CAN-Bus power supply is possible.
  
  
• Robust installation for tough operations:
  Die FREEWAY is installed in a solid waterprotected aluminium case. It has weatherproof helmet plug outlets equipped with raised markers for easy plugging-in at the correct position, even with gloves. The electronics are protected by an automatic power-off against over and under voltage. All amplifier outputs are short-circuit-proof and are equipped with overload protection.
  
  The electronic is protected against overvoltage and low voltage by an automatic power interruption. All amplifier outputs are shortcircuit-proof and have an overload protection.

  High quality helmet installation sets are available for full face helmets, flip-up helmets and open face helmets.
